At CH Robinson, our owner, Lorus Byers, climbed the ranks from being a freight broker to directing a branch and overseeing hundreds of sales reps through his years. From there, he moved into consulting for trucking companies and helped them move the needle dramatically in the internal operations and driver recruitment processes.
In 2022, the company was moved to Mexico and there was a huge need that emerged for trucking companies to reduce costs as the "freight recession" was developing. Nearshorely was born out of this need and has been filling both hard to find roles as well as helping companies expand cost effectively to compete an ever evolving industry.
We are located in the Riviera Maya, an hour flight from Miami. Where the US is facing a labor shortage, Mexico is posed with a massive job shortage. Nearshorely is able to fill this void effectively for companies in the US while empowering our southern neighbor by creating job opportunies.
